“Hi, I am COBIN”

CoBin is an illustrator and painter based in Seoul, South Korea.
She studied Illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design, and now works as a freelance artist, quietly observing and documenting moments from her everyday life.

Her work captures fleeting emotions—subtle thoughts and feelings that arise in ordinary moments. Each piece tells a short story, often drawn from personal memories, quiet incidents, or a passing sense of something tender.

Through her stories and artwork, CoBin hopes to preserve the delicate traces of her days and offer a small sense of comfort to those who’ve felt something similar.

코빈은 현재 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 일러스트레이터이자 페인터이다.
로드아일랜드디자인스쿨(RISD)에서 일러스트레이션을 전공했고, 현재는 다양한 페인팅과 디지털 작업을 통하여 그녀만의 비주얼 언어를 탐구하고 있다.

그녀의 작업은 일상 속에서 마주한 감정과 순간, 스쳐 지나가는 생각들을 섬세하게 포착하여 시적으로 표현한다. 그녀의 작품 하나하나에는 그녀가 겪은 장면들과, 그 안에서 피어난 감정들이 한장의 이미지로 이야기를 이루고 있다.

코빈은 그림을 통해 기억하고 싶었던 감정의 조각들을 붙잡으려 한다.
그리고 그 조각들로 하나의 그림을 완성할때 합쳐진 감정들이 누군가에게 작은 위로나 조용한 안부로 닿기를 바란다.
